Hannah and Nolan first met through a mutual friend. Hannah’s best friend from college and her maid of honor, Hali, knew Nolan. One evening when Hannah was in Bowling Green, Ohio, visiting friends for the annual German-American Festival. They were a little early arriving for the festival, so Hali called Nolan to see if they could stop by his house and ‘pre-game’ for the festival.
“We both still remember to this day that ‘We’re The Millers’ was playing on the TV,” Hannah said.
They all went to the festival together and then to a bar afterward where they were able to talk and get to know each other better. Nolan asked for Hannah’s number at the bar and started texting her right then, and they have been together ever since!
For their wedding, Hannah and Nolan chose a natural, bohemian aesthetic that blended perfectly with Magnolia’s natural beauty. Their colors of gold and blush pinks blended beautifully to the scenery, while dark greens added a stunning pop of contrast.
Hannah and Nolan opted not to do a first look, so Hannah walking down the aisle was on the top of their list for moments they were looking forward to, and it did not disappoint. Their ceremony caught the first golden glows of sunset and was truly incredible.
A couple of my favorite moments of the day were Hannah’s first look with her grandparents (so sweet), and the epic dance party that ensued towards the end of the night. Hannah let loose with a dress change, which was designed from pieces of her grandmother’s dress.
