Dreamy Sunset Engagement Session at Papago Park

I met Krista how most of us meet new friends these days – on Instagram! She and her fiance, Dylan, had recently gotten engaged and wanted to do engagement photos in Phoenix. We met up on a beautiful September evening near Hole-in-the-Rock at Papago Park.

If you’re a dog person, you totally understand that with big life changes like an engagement, your dog has to be included. I was lucky to meet their adorable and super friendly golden retriever, Lucy, for part of their session. Just a quick tip, I love to include pets, especially dogs, but I always recommend bringing a third person along or just someone who can watch your sweet fur child after we finish up the part of the session that includes them.

Krista and Dylan were so sweet and so much fun to work with. We explored all around Hole-in-the-Rock, and they let me get a little creative playing with light and shadows. Most importantly, it was a relaxed evening, where they spent the hour just enjoying each other’s company and laughing together.
